What an exciting week I have spent with my sister Lilly, my mom and my dad. We have a huge, fenced in yard where Lilly and I play. It’s fun to romp around with Lilly, even thought she really likes to jump on me a lot. This morning I decided to chase after her until we were both out of breath. It was fun!
We just got back from the vet. Dr. Sander and her two helpers are so very nice and gentle. I didn’t have to tremble too much and after a few minutes I realized that my tail was not tucked under anymore. My mom thinks that is a very good sign. It seems that I don’t have to be so scarred anymore. Everybody is nice and I get petted all the time. Dr. Sander even offered me some jummy treats. Of course Lilly ate them for me. Mom calls Lilly her little spitfire because she is so fast and bold.
Yesterday we went to the Urban Hound in Dubuque. What a place!! I met Mary Josee and her berner Ted for the first time. Ted could not contain his pleasure of meeting me and he was so rambunctious that Lilly had to remind him of his manners. She is really good at that.
I watched very carefully when Lilly got her bath and I was not scared at all when it was my turn. Mary Josee walked me up into a big tub. The water was warm and the shampoo smelled good. The owner of the Urban Hound even video taped my fist bath so my mom and dad could see how calm I was. By the time they came to pick us up I had found a nice corner from where I watched everybody else get their bath.
Well I’m really tired now and I’m going to take a nap. I do hope that my mom will add some pictures. She is still having trouble with all this new technology.
