Spring has been good in Wisconsin. Our prairie is in full bloom and the grasses are heading skyward. At the moment everything is blooming in blue and white.
And here are the indistructible Prairie Roses. They are a delight for the nose and the eyes. Much to my surprise, this year they are again buzzing with bees.
This Spring has been cool and wet and as a consequence everything is thriving. The prairie, the meadows and the woods are very much alive with their own growth and with the sound of birds on the wing and hatchlings chirping in their nests.
And at night the opossums visit the compost bin and raccoons turn into acrobats in their attempt to get to the content of the humming bird feeders.
Inside the house the pooches are bubbling over with energy and mischief like a bunch of teenagers with too much time on their hands.
