I just received the long awaited pictures of my baby sister’s farm in upstate NY. The buildings are new and the newly planted grass is sparce, but happiness is everywhere!
Meet Chadugar, Chief of Security:
And here is Moti, only a year and a half old, but already alert as any good deputy should be.
There is plenty of ground to cover because the pastures are far and wide.
And here are the barn’s lucky occupants:
On to the donkeys Donny and Cappy who seem to be inseparable:
Not shown are the two alpacas, Henry and Rafiki, who were just shorn and look a little naked. And last, but not least the two most adorable miniature goats you ever want to meet:
The humans live in this splendit house which is adorned with “the eternal knot” that signifies the interrelation of all things.
Our plans are to visit my sister and her husband after the humming birds have left on their long journey to the South. Autumn will be a good time to visit this lovely place and enjoy the company of all its occupants human and animal alike.
